ULTRAMAR ECHOS

Ultramar Echos is an Indie project created to release songs that were put together over the last few years. At the moment is just one member (Richard L Camino), writing the lyrics, producing the music, playing all instruments, vocals, etc.

The main inspiration comes from the oceans and coastal life, among other things. It all begun as a hobby wanting to play around with instruments and music. At some point I thought I should put these songs out there.

The sounds (currently) revolve around Indie Pop and Dreampop with elements of Surfy Indie Rock, constantly looking for good vibes blending guitars and synthesizer sounds.

On Feb. 24th 2023 the debut album was released. 'Blue Love' is all about the Oceans Calling and all the magic that comes with it.

On Feb. 9th 2024 the first single of a second album was released. 'To That Time' is a nostalgic song about Time, Love and Other Mysteries. On June 7th 2024 the second album 'Faraway Tides' was released, expanding on sounds but mainly inspired by obsession for the oceans.

On Nov. 22nd 2024 'Stuck In A Dream' was released. It's the first single of the 3rd album that came out in 2025. This one explores into faster tempo feel good Indie Pop. On Feb. 21st 2025 'Just For A Day' was released. Second single before the album dropped in the Summer of the same year.

On June 27th 2025 'Seasons For Dreaming' was released. It's a full album containing the two previous singles and eight new songs. This last album it's mainly about nostalgia of the 80s/90s but sounding like modern Indie Pop / Dreampop and a little Synthwave.

On October 31th 2025 a new single 'Birthday Night' was released. It's an Indie Pop song with hints of Surfy Indie Rock. This is the first of a few singles that will be released before a new album comes out in 2026.
